Uncle Nearest Agrees to Acquire Square One Organic Spirits

Top-selling Black-owned spirit company, Uncle Nearest has announced their acquisition of Square One Spirits.

Square One Spirits are 20-year-old dedicated USDA-certified organics spirits and organic rye vodka brand.

Square One Spirits makes Vodkas, Mixers and Ready to Drink Cocktails. Vodka Flavours include Organic Vodka (Original), Cucumber, Botanical, Basil and Bergamot. The Cocktail Mixers come in Spicy Ginger, Bloody Mary, Pink Daisy and Luscious Lime. Ready to Drink cocktails include Pear of Roses, Basil Berry Fizz, Mediterranean Peal and Cucumber Therapy.

Founded by sales-driven Founder and CEO Allison Evanow’s, The brand boasts lifetime sales exceeding $22 million with nearly 200,000 cases sold.

This is only Uncle Nearest’s second acquisition since its last acquisition of the Domaine Saint Martin brand, which is a cognac brand with 350 years of history. The Domain Saint Martin brands spans more than 100 acres along the Frances Charente River in Cognac, France. The estate even has the remarkable distinction of accounting for 40 per cent of the Grande Champagne vineyards in the city of Cognac which is recognised for its prestigious cru for cognac production.

Uncle Nearest highlights that these combined acquisitions have positioned the company as a player in the Cognac and Vodka markets.
