New York, NY, February 4, 2026 – Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood is set to welcome a new kind of grocery experience.
Whole Foods Market is opening another one of its “Daily Shop” concept stores on February 25, 2026, at 774 Grand Street.
This isn’t the sprawling organic wonderland you might expect; at a compact 7,888 square feet, it’s explicitly “designed to bring fresh, high-quality ingredients to customers with a convenience that fits their fast-paced urban lifestyles.”
The new store promises the familiar Whole Foods favorites, including fresh produce, meat, seafood, and a range of prepared foods like sandwiches and pre-packed meals. However, the real hook for Brooklynites might be its commitment to local flavor: the Grand Street location will feature more than 350 local products from over 250 Northeast-based suppliers.
This is a significant push for hyper-locality, showcasing everything from New York-based whipped cream from Whipnotic to cookies from Wandel, labneh and specialized bakery items.
Here’s a closer look at what the Williamsburg Daily Shop will offer:
- Prepared Foods: Expect convenience with hot rotisserie chicken, entree salads, sandwiches, and seasonal favorites like cream of mushroom soup and buffalo chicken flatbreads, perfect for a quick, healthy meal on the go.
- Meat Assortment: A focus on convenient grab-and-go options, including steaks, marinated meats, and sausage. Local products include boneless skinless chicken breasts from Bell & Evans, Organic Chicken Apple Breakfast Sausage from Bilinski, and Lamb Merguez Sausage from Brooklyn Cured, ensuring high-quality, animal-welfare-certified selections.
- Bakery Department: Seasonal items from Whole Foods Market Kitchens, such as Ginger Spice Pound Cake and Brown Butterscotch Pretzel Cookies. Local bakery brands will also be featured, including Junior’s, Balthazar, Bread Alone Bakery, and New Yorker Bagels, blending artisanal craft with everyday convenience.
- Artisanal Cheese Selection: An extensive array featuring holiday specialty cheeses (perfect for entertaining, though Valentine’s Day will have just passed) and charcuterie, alongside specialty products like pesto from Gotham Greens, Creme Fraiche from Vermont Creamery, and sliced Bresola from Brooklyn Cured.
On opening morning, customers can enjoy samples from local suppliers, and the first 300 in line will receive a limited-edition tote bag. Beyond the retail buzz, Whole Foods Market is also reinforcing its community commitment.
The store will make food donations to City Harvest through its Nourishing Our Neighborhoods program and will also contribute to Trinity Human Services in New York City, aiming to enhance food rescue efforts and support local needs.
As always, all food and beauty products at Whole Foods Market must adhere to their rigorous Quality Standards, prohibiting hundreds of common ingredients like hydrogenated fats and high-fructose corn syrup.
And for Prime members, the usual benefits apply: deep discounts on popular products each week, an additional 10% off sale items, and convenient payment options via the Whole Foods Market or Amazon app.
The Williamsburg Daily Shop is clearly designed to be a high-quality, convenient, and locally-focused hub, but in a city as diverse and dynamic as Brooklyn, will this smaller format truly capture the essence of its vibrant neighborhood?
